Pull requests and checks

See a branch's pull request and CI checks, and open new ones.

On GitHub.com repositories, a control beside the branch name shows its pull request and CI checks. It needs the GitHub CLI, signed in. Everything else in Lusca works without it.

Checks

  • A green tick means passed, an amber clock means running, and a red cross means failed. Muted icons mean skipped, cancelled or unknown.
  • Results for an older commit than yours say so, for example Passed on older commit.
  • Checks refresh when you switch branch, when you come back to the app, and every 30 seconds while they run. Check again refreshes now.

Creating a pull request

Open the control and choose Create pull request.

  • Pick the destination branch. The title and description come from your commits, or from your PR template.
  • Create as draft is on to begin with.
  • If you have unpushed commits, the button says Push and create pull request.
  • If creating it fails, your draft is kept, and trying again checks for an existing PR first.

GitHub Enterprise and pull requests between forks aren’t supported yet.
